Intersections and Pairings – A/W 26-27

    A field of testing

    Not a single creation.
    Not just one trim.

Two. Placed side by side, fused, brought close.
A glossy fringe brushing against a woolly surface.
    A texture that reflects.
    A texture that holds.

    Visual short circuits.
Juxtapositions that sometimes clash, sometimes flow, almost as if they were the same thing.
A play of dissonance and continuity.

Edges meeting, fibers blending, boundaries shifting.
A meeting of surfaces, a contact of consistencies.
Not fusion, but friction. Not erasure, but tension.

Not a neutral overlap, but an apparatus for observation.
Each pair an invitation to see material as if it were a thought: gestures converging, ideas contaminating each other.

A grammar of combinations that does not close, but opens.
Each piece ready to become something else, when placed next to what it is not.
A hypothesis of form. A field of testing.
    A visual tension that remains.
